Message from men’s shed

During lockdown the Men’s Shed have evolved a pattern of having informal, but chatty, ’talks’ on zoom, which sometimes get quite technical.

One is coming up on 22 April at 2pm, though it could be in the evening, not finalised yet.

Our member Martin is planning the following:

'Caterpillars, Vipers, Merlins and Eagles - unexpected adventures in metal joining.

This will include avoiding thugs in India and an unexpected discovery in Germany.’

If you or your members could be interested, plus let me know and I’ll send you the invitation to distribute.

I tried signing up to their Zoom’s earlier this year but hadn’t heard anything back, I’m glad they are still going. Sadly, I am going to be away on that date but otherwise would have been keen to attend!

I’ve had confirmation from Ros that the talk will be at 7pm on Thursday 22nd April. She’s also sent me the Zoom link, so message me or email team@techshedfrome.org if you’re interested and I’ll forward it to you.
