Request for help with fraud research

We’ve been approached by a clinical psychology researcher at the University of Leicester, who is seeking participation from over-65s who have been affected by “fraud or deception by someone they knew or trusted, such as a partner, family member, friend, or professional.”

Please contact me for details if you can help, for yourself or someone you know (and don’t tell me which!)

Participation involves a confidential interview lasting up to 75 minutes, which can be conducted in person (East Midlands) or online via Microsoft Teams. All identifiable information will be removed to protect participants’ identities

(Of course I can’t be absolutely certain this is a legitimate thing.)

If it’s a scam it’s very convincing… Having said that I just noticed that it hasn’t been very well proofed.
