Yes, indeed, it’s time for our regular last-Sunday-of-the-month afternoon session! We’re meeting from 14:00 til 16:00 on Sunday 27th at the Remakery/Welshmill hub. (Note that it’s only 2 hours these days.)
Feel free to bring any projects you’re working on, use the tools, discuss any interesting tech you’ve been looking into, ask questions, or just catch up.
The 3D printer is ready for action, as is the laser cutter, and also the CNC machine (but that needs a training session and a bit of supervision to use.)
Good morning, I would like to inform you that you’ve been sending me two separate reminder emails for our meet ups, the second is always after the meet!
Fromians: Tech Shed Wants YOU. Join Our Town’s Techies!
Whether you’re into drones, 3D printers, coding, or just love tinkering with anything that beeps or clicks, we meet once a month and we’d love for you to get involved! No experience? No problem! Whether you’re a tech whiz or just curious about how things work, we want you to join us! We also discuss the big questions around technology, so if you’re interested in exploring its impact, come along and share your thoughts.
Ah yes, I sort of had a think, couldn’t come to a useful conclusion. I think the reality presently is that our sessions are a space to discuss our technical thoughts, perhaps projects, perhaps show something. Essentially a free-form informal discussion, otherwise known as a few tech people hanging out for a couple of hours.
So I thought whatever we say ought to reflect that - what our offering is.
